Personal Information
We value our own personal privacy and have total respect for the privacy of anyone who contacts us or uses our website.
This website does not use any activity tracking or identity collection. Access is entirely anonymous, nothing is recorded that can identify you. We do not have any subscription function, login access or anything else requiring your identification. We do not use any analytics software, other than anonymous usage data collection which is part of the standard web server.
Our website avoids the possibility of 3rd party tracking. Where 3rd party services are needed, such as font loading or CDN libraries, we have selected services with no tracking, using European servers by preference and fully GDPR compliant.
If you choose to contact us either via the website form or by direct email message, your email address will be kept for a while on our system. However, we will never use it for any purpose other than direct reply or follow-up contact.
Under no circumstances will your email address be made available to any other company or person. We use a dedicated email system, giving greater privacy and security than generic services.
Removal: If at any time you wish to have your email address and saved messages removed from our system, just let us know and it will be actioned as soon as possible.
We do not hold any personal contact data relating to the previous version of this website, before 24th March 2026. If you subscribed to the mailing and contact list available at this web address before that date, your details are held by the Llandovery Community Pylon Action Group. Please contact them directly if needed.

You will no doubt be aware of web cookies and seen permission pop-ups when you visit a new website. Cookies are small text files that can be used to store and transfer information about your web activity.
We do not use any cookies on this website. That is why there is no initial pop-up about them.
When web activity data needs to be saved for functional reasons, we use HTML Local Storage instead of cookies. This remains on your own computer and is never transmitted via the internet, so you privacy is protected. Most web browers enable viewing and deleting Local Storage. Nothing critical is used by our website, it is safe to delete.
General security
Our in-house systems are fully protected by hardware and software firewalls, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs. No unsupervised access to systems holding personal data is allowed at any time.
Our web and email services are hosted by a reputable UK company who utilise stringent security measures, well above industry average.
